The Chinese Embassy in Jamaica will start using China online visa application form system (COVA) and appointment for visa application submission system (AVAS) from May 10, 2021. All applicants must complete the COVA form on https://cova.cs.mfa.gov.cn/. After filling out the form online, applicants should schedule an appointment for submission on https://avas.cs.mfa.gov.cn. (Please read the attached instruction.)The signed COVA form, confirmation page and other necessary documents should be submitted to the Chinese Embassy in Jamaica.
From May 10 to June 10, 2021, visa applications can be made with the paper-version China visa application form (V.2013). Starting from June 10, 2021, all applicants must complete their visa application form online and schedule pre-booked appointments. The Chinese Embassy in Jamaica will no longer accept paper-version visa application form(V.2013).
Applicants are required to upload photos of themselves that meet the photo requirements of the Chinese visa application, and fill out the visa application form truthfully, completely, and clearly. If information such as name, gender, date of birth, passport number, passport issuing country is wrong, or the uploaded photo is not your own, or some key information is intentionally concealed or not taken seriously, the application will not be accepted or will be rejected. Applicants will need to submit a new application form online and schedule a new appointment.
